A Tribute to Winemaker Jesus Guillen and a Fundraiser for His Family

Oregon’s wine community was stunned on Nov. 5 when friend and winemaker Jesus Guillen passed away unexpectedly after losing a battle with cancer, leaving behind his wife, Yuliana, and 10-year-old son, Adrian. On Nov. 24, Winter’s Hill Estate will host a one-day wine tasting and sale of Guillen Family Wines, at which all tasting fees and wine purchases will go directly to the Guillen family to help raise funds to cover medical expenses and to ensure a promising future for Adrian. Oregon wine was built by families through decades of working together as a community, and this event provides a perfect chance to give back to an Oregon wine family in need.
