About Oregon Wine Month

Since 2012, the Oregon wine industry has celebrated Oregon Wine Month annually in May. The objectives of the Oregon Wine Month program are:

1. To encourage a period of increased support from distributors, restaurants and retailers in the Pacific Northwest
2. To create a platform for tactical winery promotions that stimulate sales in all channels
3. To develop deeper affinity for Oregon wine by forging an emotional connection with consumers

This toolkit is intended for anyone looking for guidance, tools and programming on Oregon Wine Month – from winery tasting rooms, distributor sales reps, restaurateurs, retail shops, national sales managers, and more.

Sign Up to Pour at Total Wine During Oregon Wine Month 
Total Wine & More is planning to celebrate Oregon Wine Month system-wide in May 2020 and they want to host as many Oregon wineries as possible in their stores during Oregon Wine Month to pour for shoppers. Wineries that have placements in Total Wine are invited to sign up for in-store tasting events throughout May at locations around the country. Sign Up

Train Your Staff
Get your staff excited to sell Oregon wine by enrolling them in Learn Oregon, a 4-week Oregon wine online education curriculum developed by Bree Stock MW. Delivered via email throughout March, Learn Oregon is designed to train FOH staff to sell and serve Oregon wine confidently.  Register yourself and/or your staff here.

Note: This will be the same material used as last year. It would be a good training for a new staff member or a refresher for seasoned employees.

Distributor POS Order Form
The OWB will print and ship POS for any distributor in the United States interested in participating in Oregon Wine Month in May 2020. Fill out the form by March 2. POS will be shipped to distributor warehouses by early-April. Order POS

Tasting Room POS Order Form
The OWB will print and ship POS kits to any Oregon wine tasting room for Oregon Wine Month in May 2020. Kits include 3 posters, 8 bottle neckers and 4 table tents. Tasting rooms can order up to two kits. Fill out the form by March 2. POS will be shipped to tasting rooms in early-April. Order POS

Oregon Wine Month Program Logos
