Sell More Wine This Holiday Season with Oregon Wines Fly Free

Drive more tasting room sales this Thanksgiving!
Remind your local customers to take Oregon wine with them if they’re flying Alaska Airlines.

Did you know that the Oregon Wines Fly Free waived bag fee on Alaska Airlines applies not only to out-of-state visitors, but also to Oregonians flying elsewhere on Alaska Airlines? While this applies year-round, now is a great time to use the program to drive sales with in-state customers by encouraging them to give the gift of Oregon wine, even if they’re traveling for the holidays.

Three ways to promote Oregon Wines Fly Free during the holidays:

  1. Display holiday-themed Oregon Wines Fly Free signage in your tasting room. Downloadable signs are sized perfectly for 4 x 6 or 8.5 x 11 frames.
  2. Put a reminder in your next newsletter about taking advantage of the waived checked bag fee on one case of wine during travel from Oregon on Alaska Airlines over the holidays.
  3. Make sure your Facebook and Instagram followers know about Oregon Wines Fly Free by posting the holiday-themed social media images.

Facebook OWFF 2015 HOLIDAY-02 - PWHoliday-themed tasting room signage and social media graphics can be downloaded from the Oregon Wines Fly Free dropbox folder. As a reminder, more resources for wineries can be found in the toolkit on the Oregon Wine Industry website. Send your consumers and visitors to oregonwinesflyfree.org for information on the program.

Note: You are receiving this email because you are the primary contact at your winery for Oregon Wines Fly Free. Please share this message with your team members as necessary.

Cheers to a bountiful Thanksgiving!
