Wine Business Workshop with OWBs new Profit Calculator Tool for the Oregon Wine Industry
Introduction to Winery Business and Finance designed for non-financial wine professionals and, invaluable to finance people as well, this program is designed to systematically learn about the key drivers for understanding what goes into the cost of goods of a finished case of wine from the grapes, through production, cellaring, packaging and bottling. Attendees will gain insights into the entire spectrum of the wine business, ability to understand interrelationships between quality and financial decisions, and how to use the OWB Profit Calculator tools for profitably managing your business.
Includes free access to the Oregon Wine Board’s suite of financial modelling and planning software: the Cost of Goods Calculator, the Distribution & Retail/Restaurant Pricing Calculator, and the Portfolio Management, Marketing & Sales Calculator. The course is designed to follow the supply chain and value chain decisions that affect the quality and financial success of making and selling wine from the vineyard to the consumer point of sale.
