The Oregon Wine Board has negotiated co-op advertising opportunities in both Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast for fall 2018. Keep reading for details as reservation dates are approaching and space is limited.

Wine Spectator November & December Issues

Wine Spectator is offering two cooperative advertising opportunities for up to 18 Oregon wineries each, providing exposure in the magazine at a price that is more affordable than standalone advertising. The highly qualified readership of the print magazine is estimated at 3 million, with more than 370,000 paid subscribers.

The November issue will focus on holiday entertaining and menus. The December issue is the collectible Top 100 Wines of the Year and was the third best selling magazine on newsstands in 2017, outsold only by Time and People.

Participating wineries will receive the following in the print edition, on a co-sponsored page with fellow Oregon wineries:

  • Logo placement
  • Bottle image
  • At least 30 words of copy
  • Website URL

Other benefits

  • Winery name included in a native sponsored post in Wine Spectator’s “Healthy Living” email newsletter (53,000 opt-in subscribers)
  • Invitation to pour or provide wine for “Chill,” a fine wine and culinary event produced in partnership with LuxeHome in Chicago on Nov. 8.

Wine Enthusiast Northwest Bookazine

In September, Wine Enthusiast will release a collectible guide to the Northwest’s top experiences and destinations at the intersection of wine, food and travel. This guide will serve as a resource to help readers plan what to do and where to stay while traveling in the Pacific Northwest and will be mailed to a subscriber base of 300,000 as well as placed in hotels, visitor centers and more.

Participating wineries will receive the following in the print edition:

  • Your choice of brand logo or property photo
  • Up to 40 words detailing your contact information and amenities

Other benefits include entry on travelguide.winemag.com with the following:

  • 5 image photo carousel
  • Up to 40 words detailing your contact information and amenities
  • Links to social media accounts
  • Location info widget containing: Address, phone and website
  • Google map embed
  • Video embed hosted by client (Vimeo, YouTube)
