Oregon Wine Board Releases its first-ever Oregon Wine Film

For Immediate Release

Oregon Wine Board Releases its first-ever Oregon Wine Film

Showcasing the people, places, and passion that define Oregon wine

Portland, OR, May 21, 2025 – The Oregon Wine Board (OWB) is excited to announce the release of its first-ever Oregon Wine Film, We Are Oregon Wine, a beautifully crafted video series celebrating the people, places, and passion that define Oregon wine. The series includes a statewide film, along with individual feature films for Oregon’s wine regions: the Columbia Gorge, Portland, Rogue Valley, Umpqua Valley, Walla Walla Valley, and Willamette Valley.

“You can’t tell the story of Oregon wine without honoring both the breathtaking landscapes and the dedicated people,” said Carissa Cook, OWB’s Director of Marketing and Insights. “No one can fully believe the beauty here until they see it, and that’s exactly what we set out to capture with this series.”

Each film is available in two formats: a long-format version and a 30-second cut. Both the long-format statewide Oregon Wine Film and regional films can be viewed on the OWB website. Additionally, all 14 films are now available on OWB’s YouTube channel and may be downloaded from the OWB Media Library.

OWB is bringing the films directly to consumers during Oregon Wine Month through a variety of placements, including the digital kiosks in all terminals of the Portland International Airport as well as more than 150 Harris Teeter stores in the Southern and Mid-Atlantic states.

“This is more than a film. It’s a celebration of what defines Oregon wine and an authentic glimpse into what makes this diverse and awe-inspiring wine region truly special,” added Gina Bianco, OWB’s Executive Director.

The video series was produced by Six Eight Films and was previewed to Oregon wine industry members earlier this year at the Oregon Wine Symposium in Portland.

Oregon Wine Month continues through May, and it’s not too late to celebrate, whether it’s visiting an Oregon winery, getting tickets to an event, or entering the Oregon Wine Getaway Sweepstakes for a chance to win an unforgettable trip to Oregon wine country.
