The Benson Hotel in downtown Portland hosts a daily complimentary “sipping hour” from 5-6:00 pm and is seeking wineries to showcase. Assistant restaurant manager Brianne Nofield is looking for wineries interested in booking a date for December, which will kick off their busy season, and also has some weekends available for November as well. She writes: “This is a great opportunity for exposure to guests are from all over the United States and beyond, and guests are always so thrilled to be trying Oregon wine…The arrival of the wineries is always anticipated, and guests often check the calendar to see who is coming during their stay. We will set you up in our lobby with all the items you need to show off your product. We’ll also cover your parking – just pull up to the Valet!
Marketing materials are encouraged, including club membership signups – we’ve had many people get new customers visit their facilities and join their clubs! Lastly, we are in the process of revamping our wine list and would love to feature more Oregon wine.”
