As you’re no doubt aware, a total solar eclipse will roll across Oregon on Aug. 21. The path of totality – that is the narrow band that will experience total darkness – will make North American landfall on the Oregon coast before passing over the central Willamette Valley and into Idaho over the Snake River Valley. Many wineries and area businesses are planning viewing events.
To best share events surrounding this August’s solar eclipse, the OWB has added an Eclipse category tag to the consumer event calendar.
We’ve also built an Eclipse Events information page that is nested directly into the consumer website’s main navigation. This information page will serve as the landing URL for our consumer messaging throughout the summer.

To include your event in any consumer searches, make sure to select the Eclipse category during submission.
