Magazine: Honest Cooking Seeks Wines for Winter Issues

Honest Cooking is now preparing three winter wine guides. They are considering featuring submissions from Oregon wineries in the magazine. Summer submissions resulted in front-page coverage, social media outreach, and newsletter coverage that was read more than 150,000 times.

Deadline is Nov. 25, 2022

1. DOMESTIC SPARKLING
There are so many wonderful domestic sparkling wines from Oregon that deserve to be celebrated, cheered on, and appreciated. From funky to fancy, from delicate to bombastic – Honest Cooking is interested in everything and anything out there. Price categories will be $20-ish, $40-ish $60-ish, and more than $80.

2. WINTER WINES
We all know how food-friendly Oregon wine is, so this is the perfect category. Reds, whites, big and bold, fresh and crispy. They want wines that can stand up to classic winter cooking of all types. Stews, fondues, seafood platters, charcuterie boards, pasta, soups, roasts and more. Price categories will be around $20, $40, $60, and above $80.

Please note which category(ies) your wines fit so they can tag them properly for their tastings.

Honest Cooking hopes to see a diverse set of samples. Feel free to surprise them! If you want to submit, please send two bottles of each product no later than Nov. 1, 2022, to:
