Deadline extended: Connoisseurs’ Guide invites Oregon winemakers to submit for the June 2022 Pinot Noir issue.

A request for Oregon Pinot noir from our friends at Connoisseurs’ Guide to California Wine. Because they received a good amount of terrific Oregon Pinot noir last year that was enjoyed by their audience, they are again devoting the June issue to more Oregon Pinot noir:

For those of you who participated in last year’s special Oregon Pinot feature, thank you very much. Your presence further informed our readership about the terrific Pinot Noirs that Oregon produces, and Connoisseurs’ Guide invites you to submit again for our June Pinot Noir issue.

We are a subscription-based, monthly wine review newsletter covering thousands of California and West Coast wines annually and have been in continuous publication since 1974. If you are not familiar with our newsletter, please let me know. I would be happy to send you a complimentary copy such as the June 2021 issue that contains last year’s special, well-received, Oregon Pinot section. We think you’ll find that our reviews are different – insightful, thoughtful and constructive.

Our monthly newsletters focus on specific varieties. For example, as we do annually, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris will be featured in the June issue of Connoisseurs’ Guide and which has a May 7th submittal deadline EXTENDED TO MAY 16, 2022. Rosé shows up in July, and Pinot Noir will come around again in November in conjunction with Chardonnay. In December, Sparkling Wine gets the limelight in the much-anticipated holiday issue. We would also be pleased to receive any other wines you might like to send, and, if more convenient and cost effective, please feel free to ship altogether any which are on the schedule that you would like for us to taste.
