Wine publication Vinous is seeking wines to review for its annual Oregon report. With subscribers in more than100 countries, Vinous receives more than 448K visitors to its site monthly and is one of the most respected wine publications in the world. Based in New York, Eric Guido is the Italian, Pacific Northwest and Paso Robles Editor and Critic for Vinous, and he will be returning to Oregon mid-May to taste our wines. OWB will again help coordinate this comprehensive tasting.
This call is for 2022 wines, along with late-release 2021s that Eric has not yet tasted.
There are no vintage requirements nor specific variety request for this opportunity; there are also no restrictions on amount of samples to send, but of course make sure they’re your best representations of your wines, your region and the state.
For this tasting, please send samples to arrive by Monday, May 13, 2024. Some specs here:
- Rather than sending tech sheets, please fill out a submission form below. This will allow us to ensure your samples arrive safely, while also ensuring Eric has the correct tech specs on your wines.
- Please send two bottles of each wine if under cork.
- Samples may be shipped or brought to

Eric Guido joined Vinous in the role of Editor in 2020, and after the loss of his dear colleague at Vinous, Josh Raynolds, has been given the responsibility of covering Oregon wine. He currently covers Italy, Paso Robles and Washington State, and so Oregon was a natural choice to complete their Pacific Northwest coverage. Vinous covers all the major winemaking regions across the world and we look forward to the honor of welcoming him to Oregon!
More about Eric’s background, his writing and Vinous can be found here.
