Steve Body at The Pour Fool will be writing a story about wines made from unusual grapes. He writes: We, as Americans, drink wines made from fewer than 25 grapes…There are over 4,000 wine grapes on the planet. So, I want to issue a request for samples of any wines that are made from grapes that are a hard sell – oddball grapes, whether single-varietal wines or as the dominant grape in blends. I’d like to plan to post the first, the whites, on or about May 1, 2018, with the reds following in two weeks. The International Wine Review is an independent voice on wine that was created for winemakers, importers, distributors, retailers, sommeliers, wine media, practicing wine professionals, and others deeply involved in wine.
