Speaker Bios

Kai joined the Oregon Wine Board in November 2016 to focus on consumer and tourism marketing. His experience in craft beverage, luxury products and community engagement have prepared him to best serve Oregon wine drinkers, makers and gatekeepers. He’s worked the off-premise sales floor, hosted educational tastings, navigated the three-tier distribution system, built brands from the ground up and wrestled with the perfect word choice.

Kai has lived and worked on both U.S. coasts but never felt more at home than he does here in Oregon. In his personal time he enjoys bicycles, hikes and classical music. Kai lives with his wife and their dog Frankie in NE Portland.

Obsessed with winning over heads and hearts, Ian Miller has partnered with Umpqua Bank, Oregon Symphony, NASCAR, Autism Society, Epson, Whole Foods, University of Virginia, and now Oregon Wine to create systems of meaning that move people to action. Creative lead, award-winning writer, and Oregon native, Ian lives by one rule: leave a mark.
Alchemy is everywhere; Angi Arrington’s job is to extract it. Blending her love of art and sports, Angi launched her career creating custom designs for the NFL, NBA and NCAA. Since then, she has crafted campaigns for Oregon Symphony, rebranded Silicon Valley giants, designed for 3M, and directed creative for massive sportswear companies, famous blueberry farmers, and now Oregon Wine. Widely recognized for her creative expertise and talents, Adobe asked Angi to join the Adobe Illustration Grand Summit in 2019, where she worked with an international team of designers and engineers to advance Adobe products. From print to digital, analytical to mythical, Angi’s deep design thinking transforms how brands are received by the world.
