It is FREE to post events to the Oregon Wine Board’s consumer facing calendar. Events can include retail sampling events, winemaker dinners, etc. Submit your events here.

Feature an Oregon Wine Month Flight

This May, the Oregon Wine Board and OpenTable are partnering to promote restaurants featuring a flight of three Oregon wines. Participating restaurants will be promoted through OpenTable and the Oregon Wine Board’s consumer advertising channels.

Not an OpenTable restaurant? Any restaurant in Oregon or Washington is welcome to participate in this promotion and feature a flight of Oregon wines in May! Fill out the below form to be included in the Oregon Wine Month marketing efforts.

Contribute a Recipe and Oregon Wine Pairing

Throughout May, The Oregon Wine Board will be featuring chef-crafted recipes paired with Oregon wines on Facebook, Instagram and It’s easy to submit a pairing.

  1. Ask your chef to prepare a recipe that can be easily made at home using commonly found ingredients and pair it with an Oregon wine
  2. Take a photo of your pairing
  3. Submit the recipe, pairing suggestion and photo

Compete in the OWM Display Competition

Wine Stewards at Safeway, Fred Meyer across Oregon and Washington, New Seasons and Ray’s in Oregon and Costco in Washington are invited to participate in the Oregon Wine Month display competition for the chance to wine a ticket to the International Pinot Noir Celebration or a $100 gift certificate to an Oregon Wine A-List restaurant of your choice. Compete in the OWM Rep of the Year

Oregon Wine Month would not be possible without the hard-working sales reps that call on top accounts, get those by-the-glass features and secure incredible retail display activity. In recognition of this, the Oregon Wine Board will honor two sales reps – one on-premise and one off-premise – as Oregon Wine Month Reps of the Year based on performance during May 2017. The winners will win a VIP package to attend the International Pinot Noir Celebration!

Who is eligible? Any distributor sales person representing Oregon wineries in Oregon and Washington.
What is the criteria? We will be taking a comprehensive look at all nominees’ Oregon Wine Month activity to make it fair to reps working with diverse portfolios and accounts. The more detailed information provided in the nomination, the better!

Selection consideration will include, but not limited to:

  • New placements (off-premise) BTG and BTB listings (on-premise)
  • POS / Display activity
  • Account engagement programs (e.g. staff trainings or tastings)
  • Events or specials organized (e.g. winemaker dinners, tastings, demos)
  • Sales performance vs. last May
  • Enthusiasm for Oregon wine and any other factors the nominator feels are relevant to share

Who can make nominations? Anyone – distributor management, wineries, account buyers, colleagues.
How can I nominate someone? Fill the nomination form below.
What is the nomination deadline? Nominations must be received no later than June 15. Winners will be announced by June 30.

The Mar. 15 deadline to order printed point of sale for tasting rooms has passed. If you placed an order, you should expect to receive materials by mid-April.

Anyone is welcome to download and print materials and use the customizable templates available under Tools and Assets below.
