Oregon Wine Press seeks the following varietals for Cellar Selects for review: Syrah, Tempranillo, Grenache, Gamay Noir, Trousseau, Pinot Meunier, Mourvèdre, Baco Noir, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Maréchal Foch, Tannat, Mencia, Sangiovese, Lagrein, Counoise, Cinsault, other non-Bordeaux red varieties and blends.* (+SPK). Please send TWO bottles of up to FOUR submissions per brand. Brand means Producer Name. (For example, two bottles of the same Syrah, two bottles of the same Baco Noir, two bottles of the same Sangiovese and two bottles of the same red blend - NOT three different red blends.) (+SPK) Varietal-specific sparkling wine accepted. *Blend must be at least 75% non-Bordeaux varietals. Wines must be received by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18. 1. Sommeliers Choice Awards has built an international reputation by benchmarking wines for on-premise channels. With world-class sommeliers and America’s most powerful wine buyers, the 8th edition of the wine competition is now open for wine entries.
