Meet in the Björnson Tasting Room at 10:30 am for a guided tour of our certified Salmon-Safe and L.I.V.E. (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) Björnson Vineyard. Learn how the grapes make their journey from the vine to becoming great wine. Afterward, enjoy a catered harvest lunch paired with Björnson wines. We have something fun planned and you are invited! Join us for a Wine & Watercolor Class on October 14!   Angelina Koeppen, a talented local artist will be providing instruction and will teach you techniques of painting with watercolors. To make it easy for us, she has drawn a template of a beautiful hummingbird so that you can create a masterpiece with her instruction.   All materials will be provided and the class will remain small in size so you can receive personal attention.   In addition to the materials and the art instruction, you get A glass of Natalie’s Estate wine and charcuterie bites. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon during a seated wine and cheese pairing event. We will be pairing our wines with cheese from award-winning local cheesemaker Face Rock Creamery. You will enjoy 6 delicious wines, each paired with selected cheeses during this fun seated tasting event. Experience these perfect pairings with the wine and the cheese each enhancing the flavors of both. Our winemaker, Boyd Teegarden of Natalie’s Estate Winery will be pouring the wines & sharing stories and knowledge on pairing with food and particularly with these handmade cheeses. Laura Wieking from Face Rock Creamery will explain about the fine details of these cheeses and the process of making their artisan cheeses. History of Viticulture Vineyard Hike, Wine & Lunch

During this immersive Thanksgiving Weekend experience in the Dundee Hills, you will enjoy a two-mile progressive hike and wine tasting as you learn about many vineyard characteristics that influence wine. Lunch is included (a menu is provided on the next step of registration). Learn about: - How characteristics such as soil type, vineyard slope, and even spacing of the vines make a difference in how the fruit develops, and the resulting wine. - Knudsen Vineyards' history among the first vineyard in the Dundee Hills AVA, and how we serve as a living laboratory to help shape the Willamette Valley. - What “rootstock” and “clones” are, and why they matter. - What’s happening in the vineyard this time of year!
