Community Benchmark /  WISE Academy Toolkit

The Oregon Wine Board was awarded a Specialty Crop Block Grant in 2021 from the USDA and Oregon Department of Agriculture that established an exciting two-year partnership with Community Benchmark and WISE Academy. While the grant was completed in 2003 OWB has continued its support. This toolkit answers questions and provides resources to wineries seeking to increase the productivity of their direct-to-consumer (DTC) programs using this tool.

The Oregon Wine Board recognizes the essential role that vineyard and winery workers play in the success and vitality of our industry. We understand that many of you are feeling concern and uncertainty and are seeking ways to support your teams responsibly and compassionately.

Tasting Room Listings

This toolkit explains the tasting room itinerary database (for convenience herein referred to as Explore) housed on the OWB’s consumer website. Below you will find information on how to create, claim and customize your tasting room listing.

The Explore tool is a digital directory of 500 tasting rooms around the state designed to assist active and prospective visitors. It can be found by heading to www.oregonwine.org and selecting “Visit Or.” from the primary navigation. Then select “Tasting Room Directory” from the drop down and you’ll be on your way.
