Sommeliers Choice Awards—Early Bird Deadline January 31, 2026

Sommeliers Choice Awards has built an international reputation by benchmarking wines for on-premise channels. With world-class sommeliers and America’s most powerful wine buyers, the 8th edition of the wine competition is now open for wine entries. This is a unique opportunity to present your wines to America’s top sommeliers.

 

 

Wines are judged in five categories: food pairability, typicity, quality, value, and packaging. In essence, then, the entire focus of the awards is finding wines that are a great fit for wine lists and by-the-glass programs.

Please send THREE bottles per entry of 700ml and more.

Key Dates: 

Early Bird Ends: January 31, 2026
Registration Closes: April 16, 2026
Warehouse Closes: April 24, 2026
Judging Day: May 18, 2026
Winners Announced: June 10, 2026

Pricing: 

Early Bird Pricing: $100 per wine (November 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026)
Regular Pricing: $120 per wine (February 1, 2026 – April 16, 2026)

Pricing: 

1. Register and complete your account. Enter the details of the wines you want to enter the competition.

2. Send THREE bottles per entry. Print the official SCA Submission Label(s) for each submission. The label needs to be attached on each of the boxes at the time of shipment. 

3. Once the shipment has been done, please share the tracking details with the competition coordinator at [email protected]

4. Wine must be received before April 24, 2026.
