About Oregon Wine Month [updated April 2026]

Since 2012, the Oregon wine industry has celebrated Oregon Wine Month annually in May. Oregon Wine Month’s goal is to strengthen the connection with Oregon’s loyal wine drinker while inspiring a new generation to discover the true character of Oregon wine.

The objectives of the Oregon Wine Month program are:

Increase visitation to Oregon wine country by framing May as the kick-off to Oregon wine country season.

Increase purchasing of Oregon wine across all channels.

Amplify brand awareness for Oregon wine.

This toolkit is intended for anyone looking for guidance, tips, tools and programming on Oregon Wine Month – from winery tasting rooms, distributor sales reps, restaurateurs, retail shops, national sales managers, and more.

    OWB will activate our community through the #OregonWineAdventure campaign, encouraging consumers and wineries alike to share how they’re experiencing Oregon wine across the state. From curated winemaker dinners to sharing a glass around a campfire and everything in between, let’s show off the diversity of Oregon’s natural beauty, wine styles, and adventurous spirit. 

    Here’s how to participate:

    • Share imagery of people enjoying Oregon wine in ways that feel authentic to your brand. 
    • Encourage your guests to share their Oregon wine adventures.

    As part of our broader efforts, OWB is supporting the national Share & Pair campaign led by the Come Together for Wine team. We will post Oregon wine and food pairing content on Sundays and we encourage others to participate. Learn more about how OWB is activating #ShareAndPairSundays and how you can participate.
