OWB Education Update and Linfield Labor Survey Presentation | Actualización de la educación del OWB y presentación de la encuesta laboral de Linfield

Bree Stock MW, the Oregon Wine Board’s education director, will present a year in review of industry and trade education content delivered by the OWB. Bree will then co-present results from the highly anticipated third Oregon Wine Labor Survey with the study’s lead researcher, Dr. Jeff Petersen of Linfield University.

Speaker Bios

Bree Stock MW is director of education at the Oregon Wine Board. A WSET educator since 2008, she is currently senior educator for WSET at Linfield University’s Evenstad Center for Wine Education. Bree became a Master of Wine in 2016 and her career spans two decades in the wine trade beginning with sommelier and wine buying roles in the on-and-off trade and then importing. She has held national sales director and brand management roles in Australia with DeBortoli Wines and the Spanish Acquisition. She actively judges domestically and internationally and is a strong advocate for industry diversity and equal rights representation and is currently on the board of Assemblage, Women in Wine and the Institute of Masters of Wine North America, where she holds a position within their DEI steering committee. Co-owner of wine consulting company Constant Crush Advisors and Limited Addition Wine with her husband, Bree farms and makes wine in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
Dr. Jeff D. Peterson is an associate professor of sociology, and faculty member in Linfield University’s Wine Studies Program. He also does wine education seminars and consulting through Vinum Docet LLC (Wine Educates) in McMinnville, Oregon. As a researcher at Linfield, Jeff conducts the yearly Oregon Wine Labor Survey. He also serves as a consultant on other wine related research projects through Vinum Docet.
