Wine industry financial expert Kevin O’Brien will deliver local and global perspectives on the recent wave of wine industry mergers and acquisition transactions. The presentation will leverage global data and research with a particular focus on the drivers of such activity, insights on current market trends, and outlooks for the future.

Speaker Bios

Kevin O’Brien is a wine, beer, and spirits merger and acquisition advisor at Zepponi & Company with more than 15 years of experience serving as a financial advisor in valuing brands and businesses, counseling businesses on strategic initiatives, and structuring and negotiating purchase and sale transactions.
Kevin has presented on various accounting and finance topics at the American Craft Spirits Association Convention, Craft Brewers Conference, Oregon Wine Symposium, and CiderCon. He is also a lecturer for Sonoma State’s Global Executive MBA in Wine Business program. A licensed CPA, Kevin was recently recognized by Portland Business Journal as a member of the 2019 “Forty Under 40” class for his contributions to the business community.
