Updated March 25, 2022

The Oregon Wine Board (OWB) is committed to transparency and open communication with our industry. This toolkit is intended to serve as a portal for industry members to provide direct feedback, input, and questions to the OWB in a variety of areas, as well as serving as a directory of key resources.

For a detailed overview of the OWB, its public meeting schedule, a roster of Directors and Managers, OWB committees, and more, visit the About page.

Overview

Toolkit Objective

This toolkit provides industry members with a streamlined, user-friendly portal to provide input feedback to OWB with as much lead time as possible. Any forms, web pages, and communication strategies outlined in this document are intended to increase transparency and provide industry members with responsive, easily accessible ways to connect with OWB staff and let their input be recognized. The toolkit also provides guidelines for those offering input so OWB can process it effectively and so industry members understand how their requests will be evaluated.

Strategic Plan

Each year, OWB plans a variety of activities and programs for consumers, trade, and industry. These activities are intended to enhance the reputation of Oregon Wine, deliver knowledge and insights to our industry, and provide leadership and partnership for all stakeholders. The annual budget and business plan are reviewed by the Board to advance the approved strategic plan. The strategic plan serves as the foundation of each year’s activities. There are a number of ways industry members can provide input and feedback on the OWB planning process. You can find these input forms below. We value input from the industry.

How OWB Handles Your Input and Feedback

When submitting a form, you will be prompted to select if you would like a direct response from the respective OWB staff member. If selecting yes, you can expect to be contacted in the form of email or phone call within 1-2 business days.

When feedback and input forms are received, OWB staff will take action through one or more of the following methods:

a) Direct response via email or phone call that explains in detail how we are addressing your input

b) If appropriate, we will address feedback/input/comments in our all-industry forums taking place each month

c) If feedback is extensive enough, we will dedicate a webinar to the topic and invite relevant industry members

d) If there is a suggestion that we are able to take action on immediately, such as a website fix, we will do so and notify you that it has been fixed

Scroll to the correct form and take note of any listed deadlines. While some input can be submitted year-round, other input is time-sensitive and therefore includes a deadline.

Available Forms

We greatly value the input of all OWB stakeholders and on the form below you can provide feedback and ideas for the coming fiscal year. Note that you have the option to make your feedback completely confidential. We encourage you to view examples of forms that we have received (example one, example two). If you would like to view or discuss current feedback we have received, please email [email protected].
