As you head towards harvest, mark your calendar for the 2020 Oregon Wine Symposium. On Feb. 11-12, we’ll gather for the Oregon wine industry’s annual education, networking and celebratory event – not to mention the region’s largest wine industry trade show.
The Symposium planning team is working in partnership with dozens of industry volunteers to craft a curriculum that will address the most pressing issues winery and vineyard businesses are facing. From media relations to nitrogen management, from diversifying your vineyard to attracting diverse consumers, the 2020 Symposium will truly offer something for everyone on your team.
Registration will open in one month on Sept. 16, so for now, save the date and best wishes for a successful vintage!
With harvest on the way, you may be thinking about exploring new winery tools and techniques. If you have an experiment or trial you would like to develop and share at the 2020 Symposium, contact Scott Dwyer prior to harvest. You may also reach out with an idea for which you need help developing a protocol. We are searching for three trials, ideally focused on viticulture, enology and a product/tool.
