The 18th annual BC Wine Grape Council’s Enology and Viticulture Conference and Tradeshow will take place in Penticton, BC on Jul. 17-18. The conference includes over 22 presentations in viticulture and enology including sessions on remote sensing, imaging and drones, disease updates on leafroll and brown marmormated stink bugs, irrigation management, leaf removal and wine quality, alcohol management, economic impacts of climate change on wine, cool climate wine styles, as well as sensory tastings and sessions on pest and disease identification, water use efficiency in the vineyard, and climate change and sustainability. Conference speakers include experts from New Zealand, Germany, France and USA. The tradeshow features more than 100 industry exhibitors showcasing favorite and new products for the vineyard and winemaking.
