Summary | The Tasting Room Manager of our Winery location will oversee the daily operation of the tasting room and lead by example by embracing and inspiring our company values. The Tasting Room Manager position requires leadership and development of Tasting Room staff. Mandatory working days are Thursday through Sunday, with flexibility on rounding out the schedule with Monday or Wednesday.

Administrative
Maintain adequate stock of supplies, including but not limited to : wine, glassware, non-alcoholic beverages, beer, cider, basic cleaning supplies, sanitation and safety supplies, food supplies
Train all incoming tasting room staff based on the developed training schedule
Reconciling any discrepancies with sales, cash at close, inventory of wine
Develop, propose, and implement menu items for food and beverage (non-wine)
Execute any tasting room staff employee reviews
Work with Sweet Cheeks on 5th Manager, Event Director, and Marketing Director on staff schedules
Develop, propose, and implement programs and events to increase revenue and club growth

Hospitality
Welcome all guests into our tasting room and provide an outstanding tailored experience
Problem solving any guest issues, and teach tasting room staff through those scenarios
Understanding and developing creative ways to talk about our wines, our story and our wine clubs with our guests
Provide ongoing education for tasting room staff concerning wine inventory, winery announcements, production updates, wine and sales techniques

Sales
Attainment of wine club membership and sales objectives
Demonstrate success in a brand-focused and guest-catered environment

Essential Requirements
Two years of management level experience
Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
Able to work in both a fast paced environment and a slower visitation day
Must be able to work for a minimum of 38 hours per week, must be available for evenings and most holidays
Able to perform at a high caliber while continuously standing for up to 8 hours
Maintains or will acquire OLCC servers permit
Maintains or will acquire Food Servers permit
