Description20 acre vineyard located at 650 ft on 72°East slope of Underwood Mountain; on a rocky, volcanic slide sheltered from much of the Gorge winds. Vines over 15 years old, own rooted, mature with good sugar and low pH, good acidity - records available. Wines available. Harvest in early to mid October. Pinot Noir has good color, classic profile. Chardonnay is classic. Both grapes have produced wines capable of beautiful long aging.
