We are a global winery doing something unique: selling wines from around the world in single-serve portions direct-to-consumer, to hotel and retail outlets, and in our tasting room. We produce wines by-the-glass to help our customers explore and discover new wines without the financial risk of buying a full bottle. But we don’t aim to be the only wine they drink: we simply hope to spark joy for new varietals and make wine knowledge accessible to everyone.

About the Blending and Bottling Internship
This is a unique opportunity to join our talented winemaking team during the peak blending and bottling season at In Good Taste. This role will work directly with the winemakers in tasting and determining blend ideas, fining trials, and prepping wine to the correct specifications for bottling operations. This is a seasonal role, beginning in July and continuing until the end of November. The ideal candidate will have a degree in winemaking or a related field or currently be enrolled in one. Some cellar or harvest experience required.
Flexibility within the week required as we may be working up to 10-12 hour days some weeks.

Primary Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Work directly with winemaking team:
Blending and fining trials with winemaking team
Tasting trials with winemaking team
Stage and prep bottling line
Sterilize bottling line
Prep bottle ready wines
Clean and sanitize tanks
Set up pumps and hoses
Empty barrel maintenance
Forklift
Basic wine analysis
Assisting on bottling line
Vintrace data tracking
Assist in warehouse packaging if needed


Requirements for This Position:

Some experience working in a wine cellar or harvest
A degree in winemaking/related field or currently enrolled /plan to enroll
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to perform physical tasks and spend the majority of a shift on your feet
Lift up to 50lbs
Ability to understand and comply with any and all safety requirements
