The Candidate
The Hospitality team is essential in creating favorable impressions of REX HILL through guest interactions in our tasting spaces as well as at winery and off-site events. The role requires a high level of curiosity and a desire to develop and share knowledge of fine wines and the winemaking process in Spanish and English. A stellar Hospitality Associate is poised under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Presence of mind, an eye for details, and the ability to tailor compelling communication to a varied audience are all essential for this role. The successful candidate cares deeply about the customer experience and understands how to combine service with sales skills to achieve goals. The ideal Hospitality Associate is an energetic and enthusiastic team player and brings a healthy dose of good humor to a busy, demanding role.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry and rotate 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

The Company
A to Z Wineworks was founded in 2002 to offer the highest quality wines for the greatest sustainable value. By sourcing from across the state, the goal is to make wines that capture the Essence of Oregon,™ while building a company that combines commerce with conscience. Recognized as one of the top small businesses in Oregon and one of the most admired agricultural companies in the state, A to Z is committed to excellence. Now one of Oregon’s largest wineries, A to Z was Oregon’s first Impact Hot Brand from M. Shanken publications in 2017 and 2018 and has achieved Best for the World certified B Corp status every year since certifying in 2014.

A to Z supports sustainable and conventional farming practices for over 50 vineyards across Western Oregon’s AVAs. In 2007, the founding families incorporated the legacy REX HILL brand. REX HILL focuses only on Willamette Valley wines and features estate vineyard farming practices that are certified biodynamic, organic and/or LIVE. While total company wine production averages 350,000 cases, only about 3% is dedicated to the elite REX HILL brand, named in 2017 as Robert Parker’s Extraordinary “Under the Radar” Winery for the Americas.

A to Z values collaboration, cooperation and can-do attitudes. A to Z Wineworks is an equal opportunity employer and works toward racial equity and inclusion. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
