DescriptionHere at Momtazi Vineyard, everything needed to nourish our farm comes from within the borders our property. While our vineyard is the focus, in order to revitalize the native ecosystems and increase biodiversity across our estate, we also keep a herd of cattle, have 90 acres designated to Oak Conservation and are Demeter USA Certified in both our vineyard and winery.

In the place of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and earth-mined minerals, we create our own estate made compost using the manure from our cattle and steep compost teas made from dynamic herbs and flowers grown on the property to keep the health of our vines in peak condition throughout the year. As stewards of the land, by fostering a symbiotic relationship with the land and the life that inhabits it, we are able to produce beautiful fruit grown in accordance with nature each vintage. If you care about how your grapes are grown and what goes into growing them there is no better option than Momtazi.
