DescriptionAndante Vineyard is located in Dallas, Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley, within the Van Duzer AVA.

We are seeking to put together a well rounded harvest team of individuals that share our core values and love of all things wine and winemaking. Our goal and key principles for harvest are to maintain a safe and fun atmosphere while we dedicate ourselves to high-quality winemaking. Our team members will be fully trained to perform and confidently complete a comprehensive range of cellar, and winemaking duties.

This position will begin in late August or early September and will run through mid-November, depending on the season.

You should be able to commit to long hours, overtime, weekend work, and must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Our ideal candidate has a passion for wine, keen eye for detail, is a hard worker who thrives in a team environment, and is eager to pitch in wherever needed. It is preferred that candidates will have worked one to two previous harvests and forklift skills and experience are a plus!

Our 2021 harvest will focus on the production of small lot, Pinot Noir, Gamay, Rosé of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Aligoté and Marsanne.

Job duties will include vineyard sampling, fruit receiving, sorting, fermentation readings, pump-overs, punch-downs, pressing, racking, juice and must additions, inoculations, barrel prep/filling, winery sanitation and other general winery operations.

Lunch will be provided throughout harvest, and dinner when the days run extra-long.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred
• Motivated and passionate about wine
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and work extended hours in a physically demanding environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety procedures.
• Reliable mode of transportation

Andante Vineyard unfortunately does not provide transportation or housing.
