Vineyard & Winery Report
The Oregon Wine Board commissions an annual Oregon Vineyard and Winery Census that quantifies statewide harvest, crush, and sales. The information provided by wine and winegrape businesses enables the creation of a robust report of grape and wine production trends in Oregon, providing regional- and varietal-specific detail where possible. Archives date to 1981.
Economic Impact Report
The Oregon Wine Board regularly commissions a comprehensive study to quantify the impact of the wine and wine grape industries on Oregon’s economy.
In addition to overall statewide economic impact, the report assesses:
- • revenues, jobs, and wages derived from core businesses of grape growing and wine production as well as wine distribution and wine-related tourism;
- • the impact of the next layer of businesses, including suppliers and service providers; and
- • the impact of employees spending earned wages.
Labor and Salary Study
The OWB sponsors this study to collect data for Oregon winery and vineyard businesses to use in benchmarking and planning for labor costs. It is modeled on the Wine Business Monthly national survey, but provides a more detailed look at Oregon-based data.
Harvest Report
Annual harvest reports highlight the trends and themes of each vintage. Data is collected through interviews and insights with industry professionals throughout Oregon. Their perspectives and expertise provide valuable context for understanding each harvest across Oregon’s diverse winegrowing regions.
