General Responsibilities:
Kuenzi Family Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery and is expanding its operations by hiring a part-time employee to run the Tasting Room. The Kuenzi Family Vineyard Tasting Room Manager is responsible for the day-to-day tasks and activities of running the Tasting Room. The Tasting Room Manager will be the primary customer care individual and will seek to meet each guest’s needs and exceed their expectations in quality of service.

Tasting Room:
Open and close the building for business
Keep it generally cleaned (wipe down tables, sweep floor, keep up on kitchen)
Welcome and engage with customers
Prepare and serve customers food and drinks
Understand and effectively communicate about wine and the industry
Operate Square as the primary POS system
Promote the wine clubs to new customers
Help new members join a wine club
Retain current wine club members through offering consistent positive experiences
Monitor wine inventory levels and submit requests as necessary
Monitor food inventory and submit requests as necessary
Monitor supply inventory and submit requests as necessary
Help set up for and support events

Sales:
Package wine shipments
Put together wine allocations

Marketing:
Creating social media posts that promote our wine clubs, the tasting room and our business
Take photos that could be used in marketing strategies
Engage in conversations and present ideas for events and promotions to draw customers to the tasting room
Help plan events and promotions at the Tasting Room

Other:
3 years of prior experience required in hospitality/marketing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate organization and attention to detail
Self motivate for effective management of time and resources
Able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work on Saturdays and some evening events and holidays
Current OLCC permit
Current food handlers permit
Must be 21 years or older

Pay:
$20/hour + tips

Hours:
Saturday’s 10 am - 6 pm
