DescriptionFault Line Vineyards is looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team. Fault Line Vineyards is located in the beautiful Umpqua Valley of southern Oregon and is dedicated to growing Spanish and Portuguese grape varieties. The property, with a diverse mix of slopes, aspects, soil types and elevations creates a unique viticultural experience and opportunity to gain invaluable experience with more than 15 grape varieties. You will be working and training under the vineyard manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Scouting (Disease, nutrition, phenology, etc.)
Sampling (Nutrient, soil, grapes)
Data Collection (Lag weights, pruning weights, trials)
Irrigation and fertigation
Equipment Operation (tractor operation and using implements)
Crew supervision and training
Vineyard development

Requirements
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to stand and walk on uneven and sloped terrain for long periods of time
Eagerness to learn all aspects of vineyard management
Computer literate
Willingness to work holidays and weekends during busy seasons

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors’ in Viticulture/Horticulture/Agriculture
Pesticide applicator’s license
Tractor experience
