DescriptionThe vineyard site is on a gentle level bench just south of the Willamette River as it passes into Salem between the Eola Hills and the South Salem Hills of the Willamette AVA.

Soil type is Nekia, a dark reddish brown clay loam and silty clay loam over fractured basalt at about 3 feet.

The vineyard is all Pommard clone of Pinot Noir. There are approximately 20 rows of 107 (+-) plants per row with vine spacing of 4’. All are “own-rooted”.

Expected yield is 2-3 tonnes
