DescriptionPaul O’Brien Winery, in the heart of the Umpqua Valley, is seeking seasonal cellar workers to assist our winemaking team for the 2020 vintage. This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience in the wine industry. Work is for September thru mid-November

Duties include but are not limited to:

Loading unloading trucks with forklift
Processing fruit into tanks
Additions and Innoculations
Pumpovers and Punchdowns
Winery Sanitation
Barrel Work
Wine & Juice Transfers

Although no previous winery experience is required, Ideal candidates should be able to lift 50+ pounds, work on their feet all day, possess strong verbal and written English skills, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and must be willing to work extended hours including weekends as needed. Forklift experience a plus.

Most importantly, the right person will have a positive attitude and know how to have a good time while working hard!

Position will run from approximately mid-September to mid-November. 40 hours per week minimum and up to 60 during the peak weeks of harvest.

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour
