Oregon Wine Industry Unites to Kick Off Oregon Wine Month

Celebrate the People, Places, and Wines that Make Oregon Truly Unforgettable

Portland, OR, May 1, 2025 – May is here, and that means it’s time to raise a glass: Oregon Wine Month has officially begun! This annual celebration showcases the unique diversity of wines, landscapes, and passionate people that make Oregon a world-class wine destination. For the month of May, the Oregon Wine Board and wineries across the state have created a statewide celebration filled with exclusive events, special promotions, and unforgettable experiences that will appeal to both longtime Oregon wine fans and those just starting their journey. There’s never been a better time to discover what makes Oregon wine so unique.

“Oregon is a truly special place, and it’s the people and the land that make our wines unlike any other. Oregon Wine Month is our chance to celebrate what makes this place so special; but it is more than a celebration—it’s a unified showcase of the remarkable talent, terroir, and teamwork that define our state’s wine industry,” said Gina Bianco, Oregon Wine Board’s Executive Director.

Here’s How to Celebrate Oregon Wine Month:

  • Visit an Oregon Winery: Wineries across the state are rolling out the red carpet with tastings, events, and special offers.
  • Check out the Events Calendar: From winemaker dinners to tasting flights and festivals, there are Oregon Wine Month events happening around the state. Can’t make it to wine country? Order from Oregon wineries online for direct delivery or shop at a local retailer.
  • Enter to Win an Oregon Wine Adventure: Enter the Oregon Wine Month Sweepstakes for a chance to win an unforgettable wine country getaway.
  • Enjoy a Glass Locally: Order Oregon wine at a local restaurant, wine bar, or bottle shop and discover new food and wine pairings
  • Share Oregon Wine Experiences and Adventures: Post Oregon Wine Month experiences using #OregonWineAdventure and #OregonWineMonth, and tag @oregonwineboard on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Get an Oregon Wine Country License Plate: Show Oregon wine pride all year long with a custom Wine Country license plate. Proceeds support Oregon wine and culinary tourism.

Bianco added, “Oregon wine is one of our state’s great success stories—rooted in innovation, collaboration, and a deep respect for the land. Oregon Wine Month is a chance for Oregonians to take pride in what’s grown and made here, and for wine lovers everywhere to discover what makes Oregon so exceptional.”
