Oregon Wine Industry Celebrates Oregon Wine Month

Wineries across Oregon offer exclusive promotions and events to toast the people, land, and wine that make Oregon unforgettable

Portland, Ore. — (May 1, 2026) — Oregon Wine Month begins today, inviting wine lovers to discover the diversity and spirit of Oregon wine and the people behind it. Throughout May, the Oregon Wine Board and wineries across the state will bring the season to life with experiences and storytelling that highlight how and where Oregon wine is enjoyed, whether you’re at a vineyard or sharing a glass at home around the table.

This year, the Oregon wine industry is coming together to celebrate the spirit of discovery that defines Oregon wine. From vineyard visits and scenic drives or dinners at home and glasses shared with friends, wineries across the state are inviting everyone to share how they enjoy Oregon wine. By using #OregonWineAdventure, wine lovers can join the celebration and showcase their own Oregon wine experiences and the unexpected moments of connection along the way

“Oregon wine has always been about more than what’s in the glass. It’s about the people, the places, and the experiences that connect us,” said Gina Bianco, executive director of the Oregon Wine Board. “Oregon Wine Month is an invitation to explore, connect, and share in that spirit of discovery, wherever and however you enjoy Oregon wine.

There are many ways to celebrate Oregon Wine Month, including:

  • Visit an Oregon winery to experience exclusive tastings, events, and special offers.
  • Check out the Events Calendar for Oregon Wine Month events happening around the state.
  • Post Oregon Wine Month experiences using #OregonWineAdventure and #OregonWineMonth, and tag @oregonwineboard on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Order from Oregon wineries online for direct delivery or shop at a local retailer for yourself and gifts for others.
  • Celebrate Oregon’s sustainable winemaking practices by purchasing LIVE Certified Sustainable, Salmon Safe, Demeter Certified Biodynamic, and USDA Organic bottles.
  • For Oregon locals and visitors, look for restaurants, wine bars or bottle shops that offer a broad selection of Oregon wines.
  • Celebrate Oregon Wine Month at home and on social media. Pair Oregon wines with your favorite dishes and share how Oregon wine brings people together. Join the Share & Pair Sundays campaign by tagging @ShareandPairSundays and @oregonwineboard.
  • Locals, show your Oregon wine pride all year long with a custom Wine Country license plate. Proceeds support Oregon wine and culinary tourism promotion.

Visit the Oregon Wine Events Calendar to stay up to date on regional events and visit your favorite winery’s website to discover how they are celebrating Oregon Wine Month. For more information, visit oregonwine.org/events-programs/oregon-wine-month/.
