Oregon Wine Industry Celebrates “Come Over October” With Promotions & Events
Wineries and vineyards encourage gathering together during the month of October to share wine and friendship.

Portland, Ore — (October 9, 2025) — Oregon Wine Board (OWB)  is proud to share the Oregon Wine industry’s involvement in Come Over October for its second year, focusing on gathering friends and family together with wine to celebrate the season and one another.

“October is the perfect time to discover Oregon wine country,” said Gina Bianco, executive director of the Oregon Wine Board. “From harvest celebrations to cozy tastings, it’s a perfect time of year to come together, slow down, take in the beauty of the season, and savor the bounty of Oregon wines.  The Oregon wine industry welcomes locals and visitors alike to come together over a glass or bottle of their favorite Oregon Wine.”

There are many ways to support Oregon Wine throughout Come Over October. Visit your favorite winery and explore new ones, share Oregon Wine at home or in a restaurant. By enjoying wine wherever your friends and family gather, you are uplifting Oregon winemakers committed to quality, sustainable farming and minimal intervention, allowing the wines to represent the place.

Throughout Oregon, wineries are celebrating Come Over October with events and promotions all month long, including:

  • Offering complimentary wine tastings and eats. Bring friends or family, enjoy the open air, scenic winery views, and reconnect over a glass. Tickets are first-come, first-served. Participating wineries include:
    • Gran Moraine
    • Penner Ash
    • WillaKenzie Estate
    • Knudsen Vineyards
      • Complimentary tastings at Knudsen Vineyards are available October 25-26, 2025.
    • Willamette Valley Vineyards
      • Two complimentary elevated or seasonal flights with the purchase of two qualifying bottles, available at their Oregon & Vancouver locations.
  • Celebrating Come Over October on a specific day of the week. Participating wineries include:
    • Phelps Creek Vineyards is hosting Come Over Tuesdays, pouring limited edition bottles for guests in their tasting room.
    • Portland Wine Company is celebrating Come Over October with Three-Bottle Thursdays, spotlighting a different bottle for tasting every Thursday and offering a 10% discount when you buy three bottles and 20% for Club Members.
    • Wetzel Estate is hosting $10 Wine Flight Wednesdays throughout the month of October.
  • Rain Dance Vineyards is offering one complementary à la carte menu item of your choosing accompanied by a limited production wine pour when you book their Estate Tasting.
  • Winderlea Vineyard and Winery is providing reduced shipping prices all October long. Any three bottles for shipping, as well as limited Come Over October packages, are available with $29 ground shipping.
  • Wineries across the state are celebrating Come Over October with Harvest Dinners, opening their doors to visitors with cozy fall flavors and perfectly paired wines. Locals and visitors are encouraged to visit their favorite Oregon wineries’ websites to see if they are hosting a Harvest Dinner in October. Some wineries hosting a harvest dinner are listed below, and many more can be found at Local Wine Events.

    • Oak Knoll Winery: October 11, 2025
    • DANCIN Vineyards: October 17, 2025

  • Oregon Wine is front and center during Come Over October at Roux Portland, a week-long festival in downtown Portland celebrating women-owned businesses changing the game in food, drink and culture. Enjoy a glass of Oregon Wine at one of the many pop-up dinners, chef collabs and other experiences while the festival is underway.

Come Over October is a national campaign encouraging wine lovers to invite friends, family, and colleagues to “come over” during the month of October. Sharing a glass of Oregon Wine not only supports the businesses and artistry of Oregon winemakers, but it also allows opportunity for connection, generosity and caring towards one another.
