Each year at the Oregon Wine Symposium, industry leaders are recognized for their contributions to the Oregon wine industry. Nominations for the Oregon Wine Industry Awards are now open. Award recipients will be recognized and celebrated at the Awards Luncheon at the 2017 Oregon Wine Symposium on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Nominations close Nov. 30 with award recipients being chosen and notified in December. Please review each of the categories below and follow the link to submit your nomination for a given category. Lifetime Achievement Award: Given to an individual or individuals whose extraordinary dedication, inspiration and advocacy for the Oregon wine community spans a personal lifetime.
Founders Award: Given to an individual or individuals whose pioneering, groundbreaking work has deeply influenced and advanced the interests of Oregon winegrowers and winemakers, fostering statewide collaboration.
Outstanding Industry Leadership Award (Formerly Outstanding Industry Service Award): Recognizes an individual whose exemplary commitment and innovative leadership has contributed significantly to the advancement of the Oregon wine industry.
Vineyard Excellence Award: Given to a vineyard employee who demonstrates outstanding collaborative support under the supervision of vineyard directors and viticulturists. This employee exemplifies remarkable technical knowledge, professionalism and an outstanding work ethic.
Industry Partner Award: Given to a service provider whose cooperative approach has positively influenced the success of the Oregon wine industry and its members.
