JULY 16, 2025

A Note from the OWB Team

Dear Industry Colleagues,

As the Oregon Wine Board brings another fiscal year to an end, we reflect on our achievements of the past year and look toward the year ahead with great anticipation as we prepare to roll out our 2025-2030 strategic plan.

Over the past few months, our staff and Board have been working diligently to put the finishing touches on our strategic plan, which we look forward to sharing with you later this summer following final Board approval. It has been a thoughtful process that would not have been complete without those of you who engaged with us during our regional listening sessions as well as statewide Zoom meetings. The OWB directors and team exist to be in service to Oregon’s wine growers and producers, and we believe you will see that reflected in our new 5-year plan. We actively listened to your concerns, challenges, needs, and ideas for the future of Oregon wine. We are grateful for your participation and have worked hard to integrate your input throughout our planning process. Our new strategic plan is the key driver of the operational plan that informs our 2025-26 budget. If you are interested in learning more about our FY25-26 operational budget, visit the Annual Business Plan Toolkit where you can review it. Register to join us next Tuesday, July 22 at 2 p.m. when we will present our proposed budget and take industry input. Our Board will review the budget revisions at its August meeting, including input received from industry members. Finally, we invite you to join the Oregon Wine Board team and special guest Danny Brager on Tuesday, August 5 at 10 a.m. for a mid-year State of the Industry webinar. Danny will share insights and data on Oregon wine’s performance during the first half of 2025, with a spotlight on Oregon Wine Month results. We wish all of you the very best, and look forward to working with you over the coming months and years to bring our plan to fruition to ensure that Oregon wine continues to be a bright spot in the industry here and around the world. Sincerely, Gina Bianco Executive Director
