CANADA TRADE AND MEDIA VIRTUAL SEMINAR SERIES

Register by March 17 to have your wine featured

The OWB is expanding our programming in Canada this year by hosting a series of six virtual seminars for key trade in Ontario this summer. These seminars will target decision makers including the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) and buyers for major hotels and restaurants in the province as well as top influential media. The seminars will be limited to 6-12 attendees each so that participating wineries will have time to interact with all participants. This is a great opportunity to get your wines in front of those who make a difference in this crucial international market for Oregon. Participation is limited and subject to the following requirements:
  • Registration required by March 17 (there is no fee to participate).
  • Wineries must have an agent in Ontario.
  • Wineries will be asked to provide 12 bottles of one SKU that is already available in Ontario (bonus if the wine is available in Quebec as well).
  • Wineries will be responsible for either the shipment of the samples to their agent at their cost or reimbursement of the samples to their agent if sourcing in market.
  • Winery principal must be available to participate virtually on the day of the event (schedule TBD but will be communicated shortly to wineries).
  • Submit all requested information about the wine into the Bottlebooks system and be available to speak with seminar emcee about wine prior to the event.
Once you have registered, OWB will contact you to confirm your participation and to communicate next steps. Please contact Margaret with any questions.
