Marechal Foch is a versatile, early-ripening black grape and is used to produce dry red wines, rosés, and even dessert wines like ice wine. It can produce a light red wine similar to Beaujolais. Marechal Foch wines are enjoyed young, particularly those with a fruit-forward profile, some high-quality, oak-aged examples can age for up to five years, developing more earthy, smoky, and savoury characteristics over time. |
