|Description||The vineyard site is on a gentle level bench just south of the Willamette River as it passes into Salem between the Eola Hills and the South Salem Hills of the Willamette AVA.|
Soil type is Nekia, a dark reddish brown clay loam and silty clay loam over fractured basalt at about 3 feet.
The vineyard is all Pommard clone of Pinot Noir. There are approximately 20 rows of 107 (+-) plants per row with vine spacing of 4’. All are “own-rooted”.
Expected yield is 2-3 tonnes
