FEBRUARY 20, 2026

A Note from the OWB

Dear Industry Colleagues:

It was fantastic to see so many people gather at the Oregon Wine Symposium in Portland earlier this month. All told, the Symposium brought together more than 1,600 industry professionals from vineyards, wineries, associations, universities, vendors, service providers, and beyond. The energy throughout the event was palpable, as you showed up ready to tackle present challenges, contemplate new solutions, and spend time in community.

At the same time, many in our industry were overseas for a blitz of international marketing activity in key export markets of London, Stockholm, and Oslo, anchored by three days at Wine Paris. With more than a dozen Oregon wineries participating at this premier international trade show, these events are critical in supporting market development and brand building for Oregon wine. Check out this video that gives a behind-the-scenes look at how we brought a taste of Oregon to the global stage.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make these two major events a success! —Your Oregon Wine Board Team

Complete the 2025 Oregon Vineyard & Winery Census by February 28

The 2025 Oregon Vineyard and Winery Census is open through Feb. 28, and every vineyard and winery business in Oregon is asked to participate. The Census is critical for our statewide wine industry as it helps tell the story of Oregon wine harvest, crush, and sales, for both the given year and over time. The link to the survey is sent directly to one person at each business from research partner Jay Matonte at the University of Oregon’s Institute for Policy Research and Engagement (IPRE). If you haven’t seen this message, please contact Jay for your business’s unique link. All information is held confidential by the UO research team, and all data are reported in aggregate only.

February 2026 Weather and Climate Forecast

Dr. Greg Jones recently published an updated weather and climate summary and forecast. This report looks back at January and forecasts conditions for February, March and April.
