Travel Oregon is now accepting applications for Oregon Wine Country Plates Matching Grants funding.
The program awards eligible applicants for projects that contribute to the development and improvement of communities throughout the state by means of the enhancement, expansion and promotion of the visitor industry.
Travel Oregon administers the Oregon Wine Country Plates Matching Grants Program, which is funded through sales of the Wine Country license plate. A total of $200,000 is available for grant awards.
Applicants may apply for grants of up to $50,000 for projects that promote wine and/or culinary tourism. Applicants must demonstrate a one-to-one match with at least 50 percent of matching funds being cash. Important dates:
- Jan. 29, 2018 – Online application open
- Feb. 28, 2018 – Online application closes
- April 18, 2018 – Application status notification (work can officially begin)
- May 17, 2019 – Project must be complete and final reporting documentation submitted
