It’s #timetowine with Jessyca Lewis and Majella O’ Connell

I will be interviewing Majella O’ Connell in front of a live audience on Monday, January 13th, 2020

Majella is a London-based photographer who is known in the industry for creating stunning high-quality food images. She has been commissioned by a wealth of high profile food and restaurant clients including Hakkasan, Tim Allen’s Flitch of Bacon and most recently Great British Menu judge and 2 Michelin star holder, Daniel Clifford and his restaurant Midsummer House.

 After travelling the world for 12 years, she developed a passion for photography and went on to take a formal Photography course at a London college, obtaining four distinctions. 

Majella’s other area of expertise is digital marketing which she utilises for both herself and a number of prestigious clients including a leading London caterer, restaurants and hotels. She has been in the hospitality industry for nearly 25 years, starting in Manchester for the then famous JW Johnsons, that developed to become Living Ventures.

She is also a freelance photo-journalist specialising in food publications including features on Gelinaz in Austria and the San Sebastian Gastronimika.

Majella launched London Kitchen Social in January 2018, offering chefs and suppliers exquisite imagery and online exposure via social media for themselves and their brands as well as offering guests the opportunity to meet and network with other chefs & suppliers. She then went on to launch Manchester Kitchen Social a year later in January 2019.
