About Hazelfern: Hazelfern Cellars is owned and operated by Co-Winemakers Bryan and Laura Laing, making exceptional wine to be paired with good music, great people, memorable stories and delicious dinners. Bryan and Laura started making wine in 2006 in the basement of their Portland home with Bryan experimenting with every tactic and style, like a pinot-fueled mad scientist. In 2014, sparked by the loss of a young family member and a quarter-life crisis, Bryan and Laura went all-in to follow their passion, purchasing and moving to a farm in the Chehalem Mountains above Newberg, Oregon. Hazelfern Cellars offers a unique, non-traditional, inclusive wine tasting experience within a beautiful former horse barn on their property. Laura is the driving force behind the guest experience, managing the tasting room, wine club, finances and events, as well as co-winemaking. Bryan’s dedication to organic farming and his thoughtful winemaking mirrors his love of cooking fresh, seasonally driven meals for his family and friends. Bryan and Laura specialize in single vineyard and expertly blended Pinot Noir, and are pioneers of a new Oregon Chardonnay movement. Their food-friendly wines are an elevated celebration of terroir and true to the grape. Learn more about Bryan, Laura and Hazelfern Cellars at https://www.hazelfern.com/
